Hi Forum,
Does anyone know where I could order a 13 pin PCB socket suitable for the Moteino R4?

Felix

I haven't found a good source, I usually just use 1x40 headers which are very common and I cut them (and if it's a female header I clean up the end if it has to be nice and flush).

Thanks - I have a solution using 12 pin female headers with a 2 pin but end - but trying to find something a little more "professional" If I do I'll post it here.

I found 14 pin headers that are really cheap from Phoenix Enterprises (http://www.phoenixent.com/).  Search for Part# HWS1048.

I've attached a picture from their website.

Thanks, but I've been buying 40 pin headers and scoring them with a sharp knife or razor at the appropriate length, then snapping them between pliers. A bit rough, but cleaned up with a nail file looks OK.
Still looking for 13 pin - will post if I find them

You might want to check out Gradconn connectors, they do cheaper versions of Samtec connectors too:
