battery for Motion/OLED Mote Moteino

is there a battery on amazon i could use with Motion/OLED Mote Moteino?

Also there is a cell phone category and I've had good experience with cell phone batteries. They seem to be better quality than what adafruit/sf and others are selling online.

There are 3 important things to consider when you shop for a battery:
- depending where you shop you will not get the right mating JST 2pin 2mm pitch connector, but you can always solder the battery to the board (mind polarity!!!) since there is a battery switch also on the MotionMote
- the size of the battery is important if you put the kit inside the provided lasercut case, should be no larger than 55*33*7mm
- it has to be a 1 cell 3.7v nominal (4.2v when fully charged) LiIon or LiPolymer battery
Also be very careful with the polarity even when you find the mating connector, my board expects it plugged the right way.

The main 2 reasons I've given up trying to offer batteries are:
- there are very strict rules and limits with shipping LiIon batteries, and most people break these rules including the big players
- finding good sources for good quality batteries is a real challenge, china is always a huge gamble with anything more complex than wires and headers

I have a cell phone battery that says 3.7 volts Li-ion do you think it should work? I dont know if its 1 cell and 4.2 volts when fully charged. well the voltage i could check, but i have no idea if its 1 cell.

If it's 3.7 it's most likely 1 cell.
Usually 2 cells are in series to form more voltage (ie double, triple etc).
You could just solder 2 wires (use black for GND and red for +). Then solder them to the MotionOLED. If all is good, it should work, it should charge up (CHRG LED should come on assuming it's not fully charged).
