Need info regarding current ranger

I was planning to buy current range for a project i want to know:

1) Can it switch from nA to mA automatically ? is there any issue using in such scenarios.
2) Does it come with some software to log data or to view data on chart.

In AUTO ranging mode it will switch from nA, but to uA first, then take another reading, before switching to mA.
You could technically switch DIRECTLY to mA but I have found there is no need for that, the switching is fast enough that there will not be a concern with brownout etc.
Also, if you know your DUT is in nA range while sleeping, you already know the sleep current in nA range. So you can be in uA to keep switching at a minimum. In any case there should be no issue.
