Completed Millenium Pi project (almost lol)
« on: April 04, 2017, 07:16:47 PM »
Finally my long awaited case build
Here is my raspberry pi case I made out of a Star Wars Galactic Heroes Millennium Falcon. (Don't mind all the wiring it is still unfinished and will get all organized)
I installed led's in the front and in the satellite dish to the Pi so it flashes when its active. I did this by following Eazy Hax video. I also added a blue led strip to the back to create the effect its engines are fired up. I gutted out the inside so I can fit the RP3, HDD, fan and the ATXRASPI. I drilled holes into the top "vents" so the fan I installed can blow out the hot air. I cutout the side to fit in a dual usb plug so I don't have to keep on opening it up. The power button is controlled by the ATXRASPI to shutdown or reboot the RP3.
Just have the rainbow cube to figure out......

Nice, not lol at all :)
Hey I think your shutdown script is not running, that's why you have to do a forced shutdown (LONG hold).
Also I see other lights and stuff taht I assume are feeding from the ATXRaspi...that might be a cause for the rainbow if the load is too high although ATXRaspi can handle a very hefty load without issues. Again great wiring and soldering is essential.

Check the shutdown script, make sure it runs so you can properly shutdown/reboot. If it runs properly the "BOOTOK" green LED will be green once Pi fully boots.

Lights are connected to the gpio pins and I had those installed with an HDD with no rainbow square. It wasn't until I installed the ATXRASPI then I got the rainbow square. For some reason that was the only time I had to long press to turn it off, it turns off like it should now.

Maybe you hadn't restarted after installing the shutdown script?
Anyway sounds like that is solved.
