Title: OTA from autonomous moteino
Post by: Uncle Buzz on November 18, 2019, 04:50:54 PM
Is it possible to translate the OTA process into a sketch without be piloted by serial communication ?

I would like to put some images on the flash of a "server" with versioning, and update the nodes if there is a new image for them when they contact the server.

Is it something an ATMEGA328 or ATMEGA1284 could do or is there too much dependencies a computer is mandatory ?

Of course, but it will be a bunch of work.
Serial is platform agnostic.

I really like that idea!
