Autoreset after powerloss solved by Wire Wrap

Hi all,

I am not sure if my solution for a safe autoreset after a powerloss was already known but anyway...

After installation of electrical floorheating I decided to control it with Moteino nodes .
Then I thought the autoreset via BOD should be enough.
I then experienced it was not att all reliable ( too slow power raise I guess) and I often had to manually reset each Moteino after a powerloss.
Then came suddenly the easy solution,  a Wire Wrap between DTR and GND on the Moteino FTDI contact.

As I am using Wireless Programming the bridge can be left there until further however is still very easy to remove when needed.

Personally I find Wire Wrap to be somewhat neglected but it is still an excellent tool , also in more advanced prototyping.
E.g I WireWrapped my own computer already 35 years ago.

Good sleuthing.  I routinely install a jumper between these two pins on my AC powered Motes.  The power service where I live is too intermittent with brown outs and spikes from wind blown tree limbs and there have been many times that a Mote would simply hang until I started doing this.

WireWrap - isn't that trademarked?  Oh, maybe it's expired by now.   Been there, done that!   Good tip, actually.  Now if I can only find my wire wrap gun...  ;)
