Title: Arduino IDE libraries
Post by: microblades on October 29, 2016, 09:05:07 PM
I've downloaded the library from here: https://github.com/LowPowerLab/WirelessProgramming

I'm getting an error when installing the library in the Arduino IDE 1.6.12

"Specified folder/zip file does not contain a valid library"

Any ideas? I've installed several other Motieno related libraries without issue.

Thanks!!

microblades,

If you browse to the arduino\libraries folder you will see that when you unzipped the WirelessProgramming file it installed it in a WirelessProgramming-master folder.  Opening this folder you will see a WirelessHEX and WirelessHEX69 folder.  Drag these folders into the arduino\libraries folder and then everything will work.

Hope this makes sense,

Yes! That seemed to have done the trick. Thank you!
