Hi all,

I've been a bit of a lurker in here and have finally made an account - i've been using some RFM69 units hooked into a DHT22 sensor and they've been feeding data back to my Raspberry Pi but i'm now wanting to expand on this so i'm able to send some data to another radio on the network.

My Python knowledge is limited as i'm mainly focused in web languages, but basically i'm wanting to somehow interrupt the radio from listening and transmit data to a specific radio, wait for the reply and then continue listening.

The code i'm currently using i've put at https://pastebin.com/9tWb9ML7 and its line 15 that I need to interrupt somehow, either via a socket connection or similar.

Has anyone had much experience with something like this? Or have a better angle to approach from

What is the exact purpose of the device where you are going to send data to from the raspberry?

Can you describe what "RFM69 units" are?
What hardware are you using?
