Hello All:
What is the difference between RFM69 W and CW modules? (and same for HW and HCW). I can't find a description about feature differences, other than the size.
Thanks in advance
Gus

Please see this transceiver guide (https://lowpowerlab.com/moteino/#transceivers).

Hi Felix:
Thanks. Yes, I already read this, but it doesn't describe the (possible) differences between those series, other than what I can see regarding the differences in size of the modules. The Output power is the same, but I'm not sire if there are other features that could be included or excluded in the C series.
I will try to read both datasheets to see what I find.
Thanks
Gus

The C is for "compatible" as Hope mentions. It's basically pin compatible with an older series of radios (the RFM12B).
I added some more info on that same page so check it again please.
The 69HW are 20dBm, otherwise they are the same pinout as 69W.
The 69HCW is 20dBm but pinout is different (same as LoRa radios and RFM12B).

Hi Felix:
Thanks for the clarifications.
I think it's interesting these "C" modules are smaller in size, so if all other features are same, it's definitely an advantage.

Yes, however the 69 CW and HCW are completely different in pinout :'(
