Rails and mini-breadboards make a flexible DIY logger for classroom labs

We've finally arrived at an "educational version" of our 2-module logger that has the right mix of software and hardware adaptability for STEM instructors provided they are adventurous enough to try DIY kit. Students can build these things and have actually deployed them out in the real world. Using centrifuge tubes as ready-made housings and 3d printing rails for two breadboards makes it easy to swap different I2C sensor modules provided they aren't too demanding for the little Cr2032 that powers the unit. Typical sleep currents are between 5-10uA sleep current with those cheap sensor modules attached (those ubiquitous 622 sensor regs are the reason the current is high). The software is now much more streamlined compared to what we released in 2022 with a more or less standard way of shuttling sensor readings into the eeprom. Memory expansion is nearly effortless with I2C EEprom modules.
