Title: Belkin Wemo gutted and converted into a portable SwitchMote
Post by: gigawatts on November 25, 2020, 05:54:59 PM
I did this hack this past weekend and just wrote it up. This is a perfect form factor for an easily relocatable SwitchMote that I am currently using to control the lights on a Christmas Tree.

Very cool, thanks for the share, indeed a nice addition to the PiGateway home automation!
Years ago when I created the SwitchMote there were very few such off the shelf/wifi devices that could turn things on/off.
I like how you integrated the new custom "switchmote" and added the little christmas tree icon  ;)

Thanks Felix!

I wanted to report an update, Hack a Day published my project yesterday!
