5v Solar Super Cap Power Supply

For anyone who might be interested, I built a solar power supply for my Acurite Atlas weather station. This could potentially be used for any low current device requiring 5v power.

Naturally, I used a moteino to monitor the voltage, and even allow remote on/off control.

Electrically, this was a rather simple moteino project.

What made this unique for me was the size of the super capacitor. Check this sucker out:

This was also my first attempt using the new Request Queue feature built into the IoT Gateway. This allowed me to put the moteino to sleep on a regular cycle without losing the ability to accept remote On/Off commands.
