Hello,

I have this weird problem, where now I have 2 additional nodes registered, but they don't exist in the actual setup. I have only one and gateway, yet I see, like there would be 3.
how? Ok, not how, but why? RSSI is still very high, data before and after this entry is valid and ok

In the log, there is this:

This is junk data that will match one of the metrics... not sure which. But .. other than it being noise you can just remove the nodes.
If it keeps happening change the frequency of your nodes up/down by some amount, 500khz .. 1mhz, something like that.

it would be really nice to have spectrum analyzer, to see where antenna optimal.. for now, i have moved a bit up with freq. and seems to be ok, but no long run test as of yet.
have you had anything like that in your install?

Not much at all, i know there are smart electric/gas meters all around but i very rarely see a random node show up, maybe once in a few months.
When I test other nodes with the same settings just different AES key, if the CRC matches the node will decrypt the message (result is junk) and if that somehow matches a loosely defined metric it will add the node... but noise usually should not match any metric if they are all well defined. Obviously there is something that does match from time to time, I haven't had time to look into it more and it's somewhat low risk/priority.
