Pigateway MQTT subscribe and publish

Hi,
I'm a beginner  so please sorry for my question

I would like to know how to integrate MQTT in PIgateway (publish/subscribe to MQTT topic).
- I would like to publish MQTT message when somethings happen (ex. node_val change; timer_expire etc.)
- I would like to send an update to moteinoNode when I receive an MQTT message (ex Alexa_MQTT node actions)

My PiGateway software was built with somewhat different design than MQTT, not to say that MQTT could not be integrated.
Since its free and open someone could contribute a modular addition to include MQTT but I don't have the time to invest or interest in MQTT at the moment.

If you consider my request a  good idea (just to permit a better integration with others components)  please consider to add it to the "gatway desiderata feature"
