PiBakery with MightyHat - scroll loop failure

Anyone try to use PiBakery with a Hat installed?

Shortly after booting the PiBakery image, the Pi goes into a loop of constant error messages.  I tried this before before giving up and at that time I thought it maybe looked like console error messages.  Could it be that the Hat is doing something on the console before the PiBakery script has a chance to disable it?

Yes that's likely the issue. The Hat might send out some serial.
I would just disconnect the Hat while letting the bakery stuff finish its business, that's the easiest way. Or else disable serial debugging/output on the Hat sketch.
