Pi Gateway LoRa

I have setup up two LoRa Moteinos.  One with the weather shield as a stand alone node.  The other a LoRa Moteino USB.  I have the gateway loaded and running on my Pi, but it does not report any nodes.

Does the gateway work with the LoRa radios?

Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks,

The given Arduino sketches in the RFM69 library are for RFM69 based Moteinos.
But the gateway is completely hardware agnostic, it could be a LoRa radio, or even ESP/wifi or anything else. You are only required to interface via serial to it and respect the space separated metric:value data format for the incoming data:

metric1:value metric2:value ...

The gateway sketch also adds two things to each incoming packet:
- the node ID
- the sensed RSSI
So the final serial data going into the Gateway app should look like this:

[NodeID] metric1:value metric2:value ... [RSSI:XX]

Where XX is a positive number and represents the -dBm RSSI value.

For outgoing data you need this format:
[TargetNodeID] message

The available Gateway metrics (represented by regular expressions) are defined in metrics.js.
