Communication from PiGateway to nodes

Hi,I have received my moteinos yesterday  :P.

I have download Felix Pi image and installed on a Rpi.
I have connected Moteino Usb in Rpi and load PiGateway sketch changing NETWORK, NODEID, FREQUENCY and ENCRYPTKEY.

On the other moteino I have connected the weather shield and loaded GarageMote as suggested by Felix here https://lowpowerlab.com/forum/index.php/topic,1083.0.html, changing NETWORK, FREQUENCY and ENCRYPTKEY as gateway.

I can connect correctly to Rpi Gateway https server but I don't see my new Node in the list and also in the nodejs.log nothing appear about new node.

So I have attached the usb moteino to my PC to check the serial comms.
I have see that is start correctly but after that nothing is received from remote moteino.
Then I have try to load in usb Moteino the Gateway.ino setting the right radio parameters, but I can receive something only when I set promiscue mode (radio.promiscuous(true);).
I have attached all scketch used.
Using node.ino and loading it on two moteino (changing NODEID) the two are sending and receiving correctly.
Can someone please tell me what  I'm wrong ?

Thanks in advance

It's always a little detail somewhere.
Take baby steps. Ensure your remote Moteino can talk to the Gateway Moteino, without a connection to the Pi (ie on your PC etc).
Once that works ensure your Pi can open the port and you can see the messages. Use minicom to open the serial port on the Pi.
Once that works make sure your messages end with newline.
I can be pretty sure this will work with my stock sketches. Follow the same patterns and you should not have an issue.

Good suggestions Felix, "baby steps". I had a similar problem when testing the remote node to gateway node wireless reception using USB serial terminal. The  GATEWAY receiver was listening to no avail. I discovered that the"#define GATEWAYID  1" statement was missing from the Garage sketch.
