RFM69HCW compatibility with new Moteino board layout and MoteinoMega

Yesterday I received the Moteino I ordered over the weekend, but realized before that the RFM69HCW circuit boards I have may, or may not work. From the RF module diagrams on the Moteino pages, it seemed quite clear that the modules I have would only work with the MoteinoMega. However, when the board arrived and I saw the back of it, this was much less clear because not only did the form factor line-up fine between the RFM69HCW and Moteino, but in tracing the obvious pins like ANT, there was a match.

I was willing to ensure that pin for pin at least, mounting one of the RFM69HCWs I have would not result in destruction of either :-) but I was not able to locate an Eagle PCB image that had the same layout as the Moteino I received - guessing its the most recent version of the PCB.

Does anyone know for certain that the RFM69HCW (obtained from SparkFun) are or are not compatible electrically, and are supported in the RFM69 library? If I have to direct wire (which is what I expected) my RFM69HCWs to a Moteino or 3.3v Arduino, that's cool but I didn't want to assume the worse.

I ordered 2 MoteinoMegas, with and w/o a 915 MHz module, so I will at least have 1 Moteino working on 915 for certain.

Thanks in advance for any help here.

RFM69HCW modules are the same footprint as the LoRa modules, are to be used the same way in software as the RFM69HW boards, and are compatible/usable with:
Moteino-LoRa
Moteino-LoRa-USB
MoteinoMEGA-LoRa
MoteinoMEGA-LoRa-USB
