I am trying to use a single RFM69CW module connected on an Arduino UNO board according the diagram for RF12B I got from the following link:

Could someone please confirm that this circuit is also usable with RF69CW? I am assuming that RFM69CW can replace the RFM12B in this circuit. I am not an hardware expert and the last time I tried, I did not get results that I could understand. Reading on the web, there are suggestions that a simple 10K/4k7 Ohm resistor network won't work (though, even with my simple minded understanding, I don't see why this should not work).
Also, is there any way for me to test with the RF69 library RFM69CW module I have has been connected properly and working? Like some print statements I can plant in your code that may tell if the SPI communication worked properly, the FIFO got emptied, or if something has appears in the FIFO etc.?
Also -- if the lib. can allow OOK transmission, I can easily test it with other devices I have at home which do work with a simpler OOK radio I have.
The goal here is to use the RFM69CW module on Arduino with the RF69 lib. from LowPower Labs as the base station and receiver data from other RFM69CW remote modules (which are power by a battery). If possible, I want to build and test this base unit to the extend possible. So even if this station can receiver and print what it got from, say an OOK transmitter (a remote handset for other devices at home), that would be helpful.
Thanks for any help.

sanjay
There are many posts in the forum regarding using RFM69 radios on Arduino UNOs, please do a search and you should get a bunch of results. You just need to step down all the signals that go INTO the RFM radio. You can do that using a voltage divider (4.7K and 10K work well).
