Title: PiGateway libraries?
Post by: BrianB on January 22, 2015, 12:20:33 PM
Hi All,

I'm trying to compile/test the PiGateway sketch from the RFM69 examples in the Arduino IDE. It throws a bunch of errors.
I find in the sketch to include the following:

#include "ST7036.h"
#include "LCD_C0220BiZ.h"
#include <Wire.h>

I don't seem to have any of these files anywhere on my system and there doesn't seem to be a reference anywhere on where to find them, or put them.

All the other example sketch's seem to compile/test fine so I know I have my RFM69, SPI, SPIFlash, and WirelessHex69 libraries installed ok but I haven't seen reference in any other sketch to the above includes.

Any assistance would be most appreciated as I'm very interested in using a lot of the PiGateway sketch functionality.
Thanks
Brian

There are 2 versions of the sketch (https://github.com/LowPowerLab/RFM69/tree/master/Examples/PiGateway), one with LCD one without.
The one with LCD uses the st7036-display-driver library (https://bitbucket.org/fmalpartida/st7036-display-driver/src/). I added the link in the sketch as well.
If you don't have that LCD just use the sketch version wihout the LCD.

Thanks Felix. That solved that.

Funny thing though...if both sketches are in the examples folder then when Arduino opens the PiGateway.ino, it also opens the lcd version as well. I can't seem to figure out in Arduino how to close that second lcd version before compiling. Anyway, if the second file doesn't exist in the folder, all is well.

Thanks!
