Hi folks
Until now I have sucesfully been using the very well documented RadioHead Library. However the memory footprint of the RH_95 and the ReliableDatagram class is - as noted by Radiohead - rather large. For my current project the RAM footprint is simply too large (the two instances alone take up roughly 40%).
Therefor I'm trying to look for less memory intensive libraries and found this https://github.com/sandeepmistry/arduino-LoRa .
I'm having trouble getting devices to communicate though and I'm wondering whether it is because I need to define these 3: NSS, NRESET & DIO pins from the chip? Are these pins wired to some digital pins of the moteino which I can declare?
I must admit that I don't fully understand the function of these pins, I haven't been able to find much on google / most closely related seem to be a discussion on the Moteino Mega in relation to the RFM69 library.
An alternative solution is simply to purchase a few MoteinoMegas but with shipment from USA time is a determining factor right now..
Kind regards
Jesper
NSS = SPI CS = D10 on Moteino, D4 on MoteinoMEGA
NRESET is not connected, not required. But on the MoteinoMEGAs these can be connected to solder jumper to D3
DIO0 - D2 on all Moteinos
Thanks for the answer :-)
