Moteinos suddenly stopped working

Hi folks

I have encountered a strange problem. I have used 4 Moteinos to collect temperatures around the house and send the result to a base station. This worked OK for a while (6 months). A few weeks ago I discovered that the remote control used to switch my lights stopped working. They run on 433MHz as well.

I removed the batteries from every transmitter in the house. I also disconnected my Tellstick Duo (http://www.telldus.se/products/tellstick_duo). Then my remote started working again. I replaced batteries on the Moteinos and reconnected my Tellstick Duo and everything went well (for a few weeks). Until now. 433MHz is again useless. No reaction when trying to switch the lights.

This time I removed the batteries from all Moteinos and reprogrammed one of them (with the same code as before, when they used to work). I had a look at the output on the serial and I discovered that the Moteinos suddenly started freezing up when radio.send(...) is issued (no output on the serial after that). When this is going on, the remote for the lights is again rendered useless. That tells me the Moteino is constantly sending signals and blocking all other devices on 433MHz.

I started up one Moteino last night and discovered, this morning, that my automatic morning light was not working, again. I removed the batteries from the Moteino, and again the remote and the Tellstick Duo works perfectly.

I have not changed the program code and I tested this on 3 Moteinos. They all suddenly freezes when trying to transmit. Very strange and very annoying.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I'll be following the thread and post if I manage to come up with something.
