Moteino bootloaders
« on: March 09, 2020, 06:34:06 PM »
I just got a Moteino 8Mhz and initially, before I read all the doc, I programmed it by selecting Arduino Pro or Pro mini as the board and the 8Mhz 3.3v version of that.
It seemed to work fine. Then I added the proper Moteino board Json file and used the standard Moteino 8Mhz.
Both board selections worked for a simple sketch, so I wonder what the difference is and would someone get into trouble if he just used the Pro Pro-Mini one?

The bootloader is different (Dualoptiboot) and the fuses I suspect are different as well.
And of course Moteino is designed and Made in USA, if that matters to anyone.
