When a message is received, is there a way to get the exact frequency of recently received message?

From all I know I'm afraid not.
The thing is ... if you get the message it means the radio can still pick it up from the available bandwidth. As you shift away from the receiver center frequency things start to work less reliably. That's where lowering the bitrate will help.
But the experts are welcome to comment more here, I just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents.

By using the FEI, freq error indicator, you can get the difference between the two radio's freq.  So if you know one of the radios freq, the FEI result will tell you the other.

If you don't mind me asking, what does knowing the freq get you?
