Title: Help getting started
Post by: JamesBryant on November 30, 2015, 02:39:41 PM
I have just bought several Moteinos, which I hope to use as sensor platforms in a home automation project.

I have downloaded the various files from GetHub and searched this Forum and elsewhere but have not found the background detail I would like on their libraries. I am  looking for a list of functions, parameters, and how they are used. I thought I saw a circuit diagram somewhere but I seem to have lost it again. Google does not seem to be my friend here.

I have probably overlooked something obvious, and apologise for wasting folks' time, but would be very grateful for a pointer to a beginners' reference site if there is one. I could, of course, read all the various sketches and infer what functions exist and how they work, but a list or a beginners'guide would save me a lot of time.

Have you looked at Felix's Moteino guide? Get there via the product page in the shop.
Another excellent source is JeeLabs.org, especially the doc libraries and older blog posts.

There are several resources:
The moteino.com (http://moteino.com) page
The Github repository for the RFM69 library and examples (http://hub.com/LowPowerLab/RFM69), there you see how most of the radio functions are used and various ways to use the Moteinos.
The guide page (http://lowpowerlab.com/guide) for a few of the main products.
