Garage Door Remote Cloning

Hi there,

I have a project in mind and wonder if Moteino would suit my needs.

I would like to clone a garage door remote, which sends a (static, I suspect) signal on 433.92 MHz.
The question is: could I use Moteino to read and replay the signal ? Or in other words, are Moteinos
generic transmitters, or are they made to only talk to other Moteino nodes ?

With my library defaults, you can use them as packet transmitters rather than using raw signals.
But this bright fellow figured out how to use them as OOK cloners and made his own reader/repeater of such signals, which might be just what you need, check his project here: https://lowpowerlab.com/forum/index.php/topic,588.msg3382.html#msg3382
