Does this schematic for a RFM69HW look right to you?

I prototype a circuit that gathers sensor data from Motes and then sends them to the Internet (using the cc3000 wifi chip).  I wish to make a breakout board for the RFM69HW/W that will work easily with a breadboard.  I have attached the schematic I have created.  Once it looks ok, I want to create the PCB and send it to OshPark...then I'll use my new found soldering skills - and after most likely damaging a few :-( ... have a RFM69HW breakout board.

Are there improvements I should make to the schematic (heck - where did i mess up?)

Should the RESET pin be connected to the Arduino's?

Thank you.

The description of what you are trying to build is not entirely clear.  What are you going to hook your breakout board too?  A Motino already has an RFM radio on it.  You don't need a breakout board.  The RFM69 will not talk to the CC3000.  They are different protocols and different frequencies.

It matters what voltage your host is running at.  If the host is not running at a voltage acceptable to the RFM69 (usually 3.3V) you will need level translators.  The '245 you have in your circuit will level translate but you are relying on the ESD diodes to do so.  If your host is already at 3.3V you don't need the '245.

Double check your wiring.  It looks like IRQ is going the wrong way.  Also, the DIR pin on the '245 needs to be wired to set direction.

You don't need to wire the reset pin.

Some bypass capacitors would be a good idea.

Alternatively, take a look at my breakout board for RFM69W here: http://lowpowerlab.com/forum/index.php/topic,330.0.html  Schematic is included on the github repository if you'd like to compare.

It has been tested and works fine.  I don't have a RFM69HW to test with but it should work fine too.  You can order the board from Osh Park.

Looks OK to me. No reset needed, unless you want to hard reset the radio from your uC, which is not really needed.
