I have Ardiuno v1.6.7.
Installed Moteino via board manager (added json url to board manager list)
I do not have the flash installed (yet)
I am using an FTDI232 adapter board. (no other USB connections)
When I attempt to upload and edited "sender" script via Arduino IDE, I get:
Sketch uses 10,714 bytes (33%) of program storage space. Maximum is 31,744 bytes.
Global variables use 788 bytes (38%) of dynamic memory, leaving 1,260 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 2,048 bytes.
avrdude: Expected signature for ATmega328P is 1E 95 0F
Double check chip, or use -F to override this check.
Wrong microcontroller found. Did you select the right board from the Tools > Board menu?
Also, when i run the serial montor, I see:

I am thinking my FTDI is junk?
Do you only have 1 such FTDI adapter?
Yes - This device initially had the product id 0000 issue, but then I used it on a windows computer and it seemed to make it react better. However, I still think something is very wrong.
I have another shipment enroute, this time not using the super cheap ones (clone?) :)
Ok. If you find the cause please follow up, thanks.
I'm curious how much people save by buying a clone after all is said and done? Including time (which = money in most cases).
