Hi there,

I'm currently in two minds about which solution to buy into, devDuino Sensor Node V2.0 http://www.seeedstudio.com/wiki/DevDuino_Sensor_Node_V2.0_(ATmega_328) or the Moteino.

The devDuino is very nicely self contained which battery holders, low power temp sensor and battery voltage monitor. It makes use of the NRF24L01+ which is included in the package. All and all, both of the solution price equally.

What would be a better solution for around the house measuring and relay switching? A NRF24L01+ mesh based solution of the Moteino? Can the HopeRF modules function in a mesh network? Are their range far supperior to that of NRF24L01?

Thanks

Felix

With moteinos you don't need the complication of a mesh, the out of box range should cover an entire property.
