Send sketch - Linux compile error [solved]

zigam

Hi to every body.

It could be a silly question but I have reinstalled my OS (Linux Mint) and now when I try to verify the code I get the following error.

WaterMoteRFM69.ino:69:14: error: 'MAX_DATA_LEN' was not declared in this scope
WaterMoteRFM69.ino: In function 'void XMIT()':
WaterMoteRFM69.ino:140:23: error: 'sendBuf' was not declared in this scope
WaterMoteRFM69.ino:140:32: error: 'MAX_DATA_LEN' was not declared in this scope

The script is the original from GitHub. I have added RFM69, SPIFlash and TimerOne in Libraries.

Any ideas ?

Felix

Wondering if the libs are installed in the right place. Can you verify the Send/Receive example in the RFM69 library?

zigam

It is strange. I even tried on Windows (virtual box) with the same result.

Here are copy/paste from send and receive. Changing FREQ -> RF69_868MHZ did not help.  :(

The sketches are fine.
You are getting errors probably because: are not using the stable 1.0.5 Arduino IDE, or you installed the libraries incorrectly or in the wrong directory.

zigam

I had all my libraries in /usr/share/arduino/libraries including RFM69 I copied that one to ->   /home/ziga/sketchbook/  now it works.  :)
