Lilypad vs. Flora

Are the Lilypad and Flora virtually the same thing? Do both use the Arduino software for uploading and the same programming commands? I assume Flora and Lilypad are "interchangeable" in terms of I can so X with Lilypad, so I can do X with the Flora.

Any experience out there with one vs the other?

Thanks for joining the forum. You might have better luck asking about lilypad and flora on the adafruit boards or whoever sells those.
I'd like to keep this forum more focused on supporting lowpowerlab products.
