Can I upload a sketch to Moteino using an Arduino UNO

Hello,

I've just received my new Moteinos. One with USB, other not. I have two FTDI's but I'm not sure if they will work and I don't want to fry my Moteino. If I realised I would have ordered an FTDI from LowPowerLab...but now it's too late. I mean, I'm from Spain and the shipping costs (and waiting 12 days) don't pay off... at least for just an FTDI unit. Perhaps some time in the future if I want more Moteinos...

Now my question:

Is it possible to use an Arduino UNO board (without the 328P on it) to program the Moteino? 

What would be the right connections?

ARDUINO UNO  MOTEINO

3.3V                  3.3 V  Don't know if 5V - VCC also will work
GND                  GND

TX                     TX
RESET               RESET

BTW: I'm using this procedure to program a "bareduino" (a bare 328P with a 16 Mhz xtal and a few caps and resistors).

I've used this setup to succesfully program the bootloader on an arduino mini: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/ArduinoISP

Instead of uploading the ArduinoISP sketch, I assume it should be possible to program another sketch?

If your UNO acts as a serial programmer then it should be fine. Except the Moteino is 3.3v and UNO is 5v so I would put a divider on the line going INTO the Moteino.
Otherwise make sure your FTDI is 5V power and 3.3v data and you should be OK.
