Hi Felix

I use to deal with lot of IoT stuff and I'm more an more relaying on the Moteino for my projects. But I have one concern with your switchmote kits: they're not "fail-safe compliant".
It will be wonderful if you can look at using relays with NO and NC pins (Normally open or normally closed).
This let us decide how connect them and so what will be the system behavior in case of issue.
I have a domotic system based on Arduino and relay board and this is really useful to keep a manual bypass (when electronic control in in parallel of the legacy setup).
like for controlling security cameras, if the system is OK then cameras are off during the day but if the system fail then by default they're on. (power on NC).

thanks 8)

Felix

@razor,
Thanks. Actually the relay outputs (regardless of NC/NO configuration) are directly connected to the terminals of the SM.
The kit defaults to NO relays. You can use NC relays if you'd like instead.
Or maybe I'm missing the point?

the kit default to NO realys yes and that's why my suggestion on using realys with NO and NC pins.
I've 8 relays boards from where I can play with NC or NO but it could be good to have taht kind of relay on the switchmotes.
