Looking for a good guide for cheap  DIY pcb printing.

is it even worth it anymore?

I remember it was so much pain like 10 yrs ago when I did that, all the mess + the drilling and you don't get connection between the two sides ..

Especially when seeedstudio makes prototypes for couple bucks..

Or did I miss some good DIY technique? :)

How long is it taking for you to receive them from seeedstudio?

FYI (not answer to your question - sorry) - I've had very good results from Elecrow.  Very cheap, great results, and my boards arrived (Los Angeles) in  just a little over 2 weeks.  For faster turn around and small quantities of small boards, I've used oshpark with good results as well.

I'm just getting into this, so thanks for the referral!

I placed an order with OSH PARK  on April 4, and I received it today.  I wish their turnaround were faster (of course!), but for the price I'm not aware of anyone speedier.

Couple weeks, usually around 3. But if I go as far as making a board for a project it's usually something I want to make in greater than 1 quantity :) or it's something so SMD-heavy I can't cheat my way around it w/o a custom board anymore :P

I did not know them.. ordered couple moteinoMega boards to see how fast/good it will be :) thx!
