Title: Python gateway code for the Raspberry Pi/Linux
Post by: obstler42 on January 26, 2015, 03:05:43 PM
Before I start implementing my own version, is there any python sample code for Raspi/Linux that works with the Moteino Example Serial gateway sketch?

I actually want to publish to mqtt, but even a simple, reliable python sample that just reads/interprets the moteino output (and maybe checks for validity etc) and prints it to the screen is fine as a starting point.

thanks.

Something to look at here: https://github.com/LowPowerLab/WattMote
Used as a gateway example that posts the Moteino data to EmonCMS.

My serial handler is here:

https://github.com/iinnovations/iicontrollibs/blob/master/mote/serialhandler.py

I use a custom mote sketch that spits out json data, but that's in there too.
