Motion sensors using Panasonic EKMB PIR sensors
« on: October 26, 2019, 05:10:27 PM »
Did anybody built a motion sensor using the Panasonic EKMB PIR sensors and Moteino?
https://na.industrial.panasonic.com/products/sensors/sensors-automotive-industrial-applications/lineup/pir-motion-sensor-papirs
(they are low-current at 1, 2, or 6 micro-Amps!)

I would like to place some wireless sensors around the property that will detect movement and trigger security cameras. For example the north-west motion sensor triggers, the monitoring software sends a command to camera A to start recording.

Thanks!

Yes and guide here, read the details and look at the photos.
I even put these in SwitchMotes in place of the middle button, work great.

Thank you Felix for the quick reply. I didn't realize that your MotionMote also had the option of working with the Panasonic sensor, the usual picture had the chinese sensor which is more bulky. I'll dig into the guide and hopefully will have all the answers for me.
