Title: Motion Kit
Post by: stern0m1 on March 10, 2016, 02:43:28 PM
Is it normal with the motion kit that even when the switch is in the off position there is still some voltage. I'm getting like 2 volts even with it off.

3.3v pin on a moteino connected to the motionmote board.

What I see on a MotionMote here is after turning it off (and unconnected to anything) the GND-3.3V shows a drop from 0.7v to around 0.4v and slowly ramping down from there.

By me with the battery disconnected is goes to zero but with the battery in and the switch off it still reads 2 volts.
Is that a bad switch?
Thanks

Possibly. Just verify if its a bad switch with your continuity meter (no battery).
