I saw felix's post for sourcing the female connector to solder to the board. I also saw that he mentioned they aren't all the same. can anyone tell me where to get the appropriate male jst connector? I'm going to get a regulator for my sonarmote on my sump pump for 12vdc to 5vdc so I can run the sonarmote off of my sump pump battery (since it's on a charger). thanks

thanks. i just ordered a couple of regular moteinos along with a weathershield and the photo reflective sensor. i currently have a moteino usb, so i charge the lipo via the usb. how do i charge the lipo on the regular moteino? disconnect and hook to a charger?

Yes :)
For instance a PowerShield, MotionMote, SonarMot, MightyBoost, MightyHat have a charger onboard, when you plug the USB they charge the attached battery.

So if I want to hookup the female jst header on the moteino, I use the 3.3v and the ground. Is that correct? Just want to be able to easily disconnect the battery. Thanks

Felix

No, you want to hook it to GND and VIN, never to "3.3" or you will fry the radio.

Ok. Thanks. That's why I asked :)
