My swelled ego got the better of me, for the record the ones on fleabay for $80+ are fake too ???
It should have been obvious that their is no hope logo on theses, the soic package is scrubbed off & the not so obvious the crystal is in the wrong place lol.
I feel really ashamed, the item i bought is Version 0.2 , the other item is Version 0.1 , I feel dumb for listening to a seller who told me it was fake when it wasn't.

Interesting, so a RF95. You'd be limited by the MCU firmware and whatever modes that implements, sorry I haven't studied the DS to really tell.
Also I see some LED's on there, unless the firmware can turn those off, the low-power-folk would probably not accept the LEDs.
I have to modify it again (& again) :o , since i have better information now.
If you're a true miser , you would remove them.

- Your not relying on somebody else
- There is less overhead
- Easier to debug
- Easier to manage

+1 for the unreliability. This really counts when your timing is sensitive.
