Title: foot sensor operated car trunk release opener system
Post by: gurari on September 11, 2016, 04:51:25 PM
Hello all,
I'm planning to made myself a hand-free trunk opener for my car. I've already retrofitted a keyless entry system so the car knows when I'm in range. Soon I'll install the open/close mechanism for the tail gate. So the last thing that I have to make is the foot detection sensor which with the help of moteino will send the command for open/close signal.
Here comes that part that I want your help because here I saw very skilled electrical engineers. I'm not sure what kind of sensors to use to detect my foot under the bonnet. Attached is a picture of what looks like original sensors.
So guys can you help me with choosing the right sensors?
