Title: EE-SY310 photo reflective sensor breakout assembly
Post by: gapowerz on May 15, 2015, 06:07:58 PM
I bought this kit but it does not come with assembly instructions, and does not match the LPL website pictures.  While the kit comes with axial resistors, the pictures show surface mount resistors. So, does anyone have a picture of the completed kit? Or a schematic? I could guess, but I'd rather get this right the first time. Actually, see the picture for my best guess.

A quick DAGS1 will find you the datasheet for the EE-SY310, the 270 ohm resistor would supply current to the LED and the other resistor (couldn't see what is was) would be a pullup to +V.  The circuit is only 3 pins so must be +V, Vo, Gnd..., sorry, top to bottom (as shown in your photo) would most likely be Gnd, Vo, V+, but I'd use a meter to double check.

Note: 1: DAGS: Do A Google...

The PCB shows everything you need to know. There's 2 resistors and a header. Flip the PCB and there's the +/-/OUT silkscreen.
