R3 Software Release on older HW Releases

Hi,

I tried to find information about it is possible to use the latest R3 Software Release on a R2 Hardware Releasebu I didn't find anything.
Sorry if I just didn't find it.
I would like to use the USB Logging feature which was added in R3.

I compiled the R3 Software release and installed it on the R2 HW and it seams to work but the ADC Calibration values are the standard ones.
With the R1 Software I get different calibration values.

So the question is is it in general possible to run the R3 Software on R2 HW?

Yes should be no issue, the hardware is essentially the same, slight adjustments were made but this should not affect how the unit works.
As recommended in the guide, you should at least save the calibration values the unit was shipped with. They may need adjustment, which is possible through the USB menu of the latest firmware.
