Output voltage to current ratio

What is the conversion between volts out and mA?  1V per milliamp?  Just checking to make sure.  Thanks in advance.

Yes it says right on the unit silskcreen: "1mV per mA/uA/nA"

How does that work with autoranging?  It switches on the fly?  How do I know when it switches to and back?

The active range is always visible - bright RED LED in the middle of the front pads.
Also if the OLED is connected, the unit will display a large unit character next to the actual reading (m, u, n).
If the unit is in AUTO-RANGE mode, then it will automatically switch based on sensed current, this happens very quickly, and the active range LED will reflect this.
