Current ranger with DUT earth powered
«

Hello,
I have a question, by removing the battery from the current ranger and power it from the USB, also take the 3.3V output from the LDO to power our DUT do that could cause a ground loop and damage the CR?
Thank you for your cooperation.

The DUT has to have a completely separate power supply.
The CR has to be powered by its own battery. USB is only for charging and for data logging when the DUT is powered from an independent supply (ex another battery).
How to properly use the CR is explained in detail in the CurrentRanger Guide.
