Computer doesn't recognize CR [solved:bad USB cable]
« on: July 29, 2019, 01:34:45 PM »
Hello,
I want to adapt the code (increase the sampling time with Bluetooth connection).
Thus, I follow this part: https://lowpowerlab.com/guide/currentranger/programming-firmware-updates/
Unfortunately, my computer don't recognize the current ranger. (First Attachment) Also, I cannot see it in the Device Manager (Windows 10).
I don't understand why...
Do you have any idea
Thank you per advance

Felix

No usual windows beep-ing when plugged into USB?
Is the CR functional (not damaged in any way)?
Try another cable, I've seen that be the cause very often, bad cables. Not all USB charging cables has the 3 middle data wires (!). And sometimes another cable just works.
