Title: Short press for shutdown and long press for reboot ?
Post by: natinusala on October 29, 2017, 09:11:40 AM
Hello,

I am wondering if it would be possible to invert the behavior of the power button of the ATXRaspi : instead of having a short press to reboot and a long press to shutdown, I would like to have a short press to shutdown and a long press to reboot. Would it be possible to do it by editing the Python script, or is it hardcoded in the ATXRaspi itself ?

Thanks !

This is in the firmware. It's possible. Contact me at the main site contact form and we can probably arrange it.

Would it be possible to flash myself the one that I already have, or would I need to buy another unit ?

Where are you located?
If you return it I will do it for you.

Well I'm in France, I guess it will be more trouble than anything... I don't remember how much I paid for the shipping (something like 7€ maybe ?) but I don't know if it would be worth it

Probably not worth it, I suggest asking beforehand next time when you order a board, I usually try to meet reasonable needs.

Okay, I'll think about it if I need to order another one. Thanks !
