Title: Setup script for ATXRaspi
Post by: thva on August 13, 2015, 05:53:04 PM
I plan to use ATXRaspi for my RaspBerry Pi 2.
I try to install and setup the system already now Before I buy ATXRaspi

After download shutdownchecksetup.sh I run this:

[root@runeaudio ~]# sudo bash shutdownchecksetup.sh
sed: can't read /etc/rc.local: No such file or directory

As you can see I use RuneAudio on Raspberry PI 2
I also have a HiFiBerry Digi+ board in  the setup.

Can you help me to say where the file rc.local is located ?

First I don't recommend doing that before you install ATXRaspi because it will cause sudden shutdowns/reboots if the pins are left unconnected - they will float causing false positive reads in the script.
Second I have not heard of RuneAudio so I don't know how to help. You will have to figure out where the rc.local is, that may be a question for the developers of that distribution.

Hy, I reopen this post because I've a similar problem.
I have used pimusicbox without any problem, but from a week I went to runeaudio.
This distro use systemd instead the "classic" init.d so the rc-local doesn't exist.
If you want to enable it you have to do this:
1- touch /etc/rc.local
2- chmod +x /etc/rc.local
3 - in rc.local put:
#!/bin/bash
/etc/shutdowncheck.sh &
4 - enable service:
systemctl enable rc-local
systemctl start rc-local

That's all
