I have set this up and in the most part is working. However when i shutdown it does not seem to save last played games ect. I assume this is because it does not call shut down for emulationstation. I installed using the recommended interrupt. Where are the scripts located so i can try to edit them to shutdown emulation station? I cant seem to find them where the guides say.
My next problem is installing the script for the software shutdown. The location it suggests to add doesnt seem to exist. Where should i place it?

I have made some progress. saw error in instructions. but now i get to point of setting permissions and get error -bash: -rwxr-xr-x: command not found
. are there alternatives or does this not work in retropi?
