Pi does not start
« on: May 02, 2014, 10:45:39 AM »
The pi does not start when using de ATXRaspi. I have connected the ATXRaspi with a powersupply output of 5V and 1.0A. When connected the LED on the ATXRaspi does light up. Just shorting the button pins, does not start the pi. What can be the problem?

Can you check your wiring?
Can you verify the voltage between the + and - of the output side when ATXRaspi is turned ON?

Checked the wiring and suddenly noticed that the pins of the USB B port was not soldered to the ATXRaspi board. That fixed the problem and I can use the button to let the power flow from ATXRaspi to the Pi. However the PWR led of the PI only lights up, but the Pi does not boot. Any thoughts?

Samething got me, ATXRaspi was getting power but RPi wouldn't turn on. USB A power-out to Pi wasn't soldered to the ATXRaspi board. This is probably by design to save Felix's labor, however, I didn't notice the instructions saying it needed to be done.

Another step closer to using this cool product!

Sorry guys if this was not very obvious, I don't solder these myself any more. I just insert them in the board and package them that way. I imagine it would be pretty obvious that it's not soldered especially when you insert the USB into it and it moves all around.
