Pi does not shutdown while using frontpageos

I am using the current version of frontpageos for a web page kiosk. Initially the ATXRaspi 2.1 works but after a short time I cannot get the system to either reboot or power down. Not sure if the issue is with this particular version of frontpageos or some other issue. Would like to know if anyone else has experienced this problem.

My guess is that OS you are using is probably ignoring /etc/rc.local
If that's the case you will have to find another way to start the shutdowncheck.sh script. See the openElec variant, that might help.
